Hotel Edenlehen

Food: I booked the hotel as she promoted self-grown products and high quality deliquencies. I didn't realise how lucky we were, not until we had our first meal (dinner). We could taste and feel the excellence that the chef was seeking in every dish and food offered. While we had dru whichnk so many cups of coffee in this journey, that from the among the best. And for whoever want to eat in the hotel, please ensure some space left for the dessert. One would regret for not trying. (I don't know about wine but all the wine I tried tasted very good) Service: This is the climax as the hotel has provided outstanding hospitality and service. Almost full house in all the days we stayed, the team of restaurant staff were extremely efficient and attentive for the guests. My boyfriend got sick and I asked if they could make vegetable soup when they were less busy (its at the peak time of dinner). I expected they would make it after some time, but amazingly they cook it immediately. We were so thankful for their service and its indeed very enjoyable simply to see them working with superb professionalism. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Very warm and homely hotel. Clean rooms with comfortable beds were a mix of old and new decor, carpet a little tired. Dinner was delicious and of excellent value! Service was also superb and the kitchen was very accommodating with our late schedule. The only complaint is that the breakfast they packed for our early start the next day starred some meat or cheese slapped between two dry pieces of bread (no love) which was a real contrast to the rest of our experience. Really great experience overall, though!

This is such a lovely, homely hotel. It feels like it's run as a family business. All the staff are super friendly and really welcoming. The rooms are a great size and feel spacious. The spa facilities are basic but good enough. The restaurant also does some delicious food. The only thing I would say that let's the star rating down is that housekeeping was not up to standards. They would, on some days, just fold the duvet in half and change the towels and not actually clean the room. Over all lovely hotel just outside the business of the loud main street.
